Terms of Use

Printinky's is an art project. It is not an investment. A Printinky is a drawing that lives inside a smart contract, plus a small game you play with it. It is not a security, a share, a fund, a loan, a note, or a financial product of any kind.
You should expect no profit. Nobody is working to make your printer worth more. There is no team building value for you, no roadmap of future returns, no treasury, and nothing you can rely on anyone else to do. If the creator walks away tomorrow, the collection keeps running exactly as it is, and that is the whole design.
Everything you spend here is spent. Fees are paid immediately and are never refunded. A printer you neglect will die, permanently, and nobody can bring it back. There may never be a buyer for what you own.
Buy one because you like the way it looks. Never spend money here that you cannot afford to lose completely. This document is not legal or financial advice.

1. What Printinky's is
Printinky's is a collection of 10,000 pieces of artwork in the shape of pet printers, published as an ERC-721 collection on Robinhood Chain (chain 4663). The artwork is not hosted on a server or pinned to a file service. It is stored inside the contracts themselves and drawn on demand when a wallet, a marketplace or a browser asks for it.
printinky.fun (the "Site") is a static web page. It reads public data from the blockchain and helps you format transactions that your own wallet signs and sends. The Site holds nothing and sends nothing on your behalf.
In this document, "the creator", "we", "us" and "our" mean the individual who made Printinky's and published its contracts. "You" means you, the person using the Site or holding a Printinky. "The collection" means the deployed contracts and the tokens they issue.
The creator is one person making art. Printinky's is not a company, a fund, a DAO, a partnership or a joint venture with you, and nothing in these terms creates one.
2. Not an investment, and no expectation of profit
This section is the most important one here, and you must read it before you spend anything.
A Printinky is a collectible artwork. When you mint or buy one, you are not buying:
- a share, an equity stake, or ownership of any business;
- a right to revenue, profit, interest, yield or any distribution;
- a claim against the creator, or against any pool of money or assets;
- a vote, a governance right, or influence over anything;
- a promise that anything will be built, launched, marketed or maintained;
- a security, a note, a bond, a derivative, a fund unit or a financial instrument of any kind under the law of any country.
There is no expectation of profit from the efforts of others. Nobody is managing this to make your printer more valuable. Specifically:
- Every price in the collection is fixed in the contract code at deployment. Nobody, including the creator, can raise, lower or change them afterwards.
- There is no admin key, no pause switch, no upgrade path and no proxy. The contracts cannot be altered by anyone once they are live.
- There is no treasury, no team allocation, no vesting, no unlock schedule, no marketing budget, and no reserve that anyone manages on your behalf.
- There is no roadmap, and nothing in it is a promise. Anything the creator says about the future is a hope, not an obligation.
- The creator may stop working on this at any moment, with no notice and no explanation, and owes you nothing if they do. The collection will carry on unchanged, because nothing about it depends on the creator being present.
If you are buying a Printinky because you hope to sell it later for more than you paid, you are speculating on a drawing. That is entirely your own decision and your own risk, and we ask you plainly not to do it. There may never be a buyer. The price may only ever go down. Treat every fee you pay as money you have given away in exchange for a picture and a game.
3. Agreeing to these terms
By using the Site, by connecting a wallet to it, by signing the agreement message the Site asks for when you connect, or by minting, feeding, rebooting or otherwise interacting with the collection, you accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site and do not interact with the collection.
When you connect a wallet, the Site asks you to sign a short plain-language message confirming that you have read these terms, that you understand Printinky's is art and not an investment, and that you expect no profit. That signature costs nothing, moves nothing, and grants no permission over your assets. It is stored in your own browser and is never sent to us. Signing it does not create an account, and refusing it simply means the Site will not let you continue.
The contracts themselves are public and permissionless. They will accept a transaction from anyone who sends one, whether or not that person ever visited the Site. Interacting with them directly does not exempt you from these terms if you also use the Site, and it does not change any of the risks described here.
4. What you pay
Every amount below is paid in the native currency of Robinhood Chain, is written into the contracts at deployment, and can never be changed by anyone.
| What | Price |
|---|---|
| Mint a printer | 0.0025 ETH |
| Mint from the snapshot list, one per address | free |
| Reboot a dead printer into a fresh box | 0.004 ETH |
| Rush Delivery, opens the box one day sooner | 0.0003 ETH |
| Ink, food and every other shop item | from 0.00003 ETH |
All of it goes to the creator, and it is the creator's to keep and spend. It is not held for you, not invested on your behalf, and not pooled with anyone else's money.
Every payment is final. There are no refunds, no cancellations, no chargebacks and no reversals, for any reason, at any time. This includes payments made by mistake, payments for a printer that later dies, payments made on the wrong network, and payments you regret.
Blockchain network fees ("gas") are separate. They are paid to the network that processes your transaction, not to the creator, and the creator receives no part of them.
5. The game, and how a printer dies
A new Printinky ships boxed and opens itself after two days, or a day sooner for each Rush Delivery you buy. Once it is out of the box it drains: hearts go down daily, meals start fires that must be put out, and a power surge sweeps the whole collection every two days. Feed it, put its fires out, and put a hat on it before a surge, and after 28 days of healthy growth it earns a LIFETIME WARRANTY and stops decaying.
A printer you neglect will die. That is the point of the game, not a fault in it. When it dies it is permanent. The creator cannot revive it, cannot restore its history, cannot refund what you spent on it, and has no power to intervene in any token's state. There is no admin, no rescue and no appeal. A dead printer can be rebooted into a fresh box for 0.004 ETH, which starts a new life in the same token and remembers the old ones.
The whole game is deterministic and public. Which colour a printer is, and when its surges fall, follow from data that anyone can read and compute in advance. Nothing is hidden, nothing is random after the fact, and nobody has a private advantage. The ten colours have equal odds and none is rarer than another.
6. The vault, PRINTER and USDG
Every Printinky owns an ERC-6551 account (its "vault") created at mint. The vault is an address controlled by whoever owns the token, and it travels with the token when it is sold.
The creator may lock a Uniswap v4 PRINTER/USDG liquidity position into any Printinky, including one the creator does not own. If a position is locked into your printer, trading fees earned on the PRINTER side may be claimed by you into that printer's own vault, and you withdraw them from there. Fees on the USDG side go to the creator.
Read the following carefully, because it is easy to misread as a promise, and it is not one:
- No printer is promised a position. Most will never have one. The creator decides freely whether to lock a position into any printer, which one, and when, and may decline forever.
- No position is promised to earn anything. Fees exist only if strangers trade in a public pool that nobody controls. That trading may stop, or may never start.
- A locked position can be taken back out, but only from a printer the creator also owns. Once a position is locked into a printer somebody else holds, the contract will not let the creator remove it. That is enforced by the code, not by a promise.
- PRINTER and USDG are third-party tokens. The creator does not issue them, control them, back them, or vouch for their value, their liquidity or their conduct. They may go to zero.
- Fees claimed this way are not a yield, an interest rate, a dividend, a distribution or a return on an investment, and must not be treated as one, quoted as one, or relied on in any way.
Do not buy a Printinky in the expectation of receiving fees. If that is why you are here, stop.
7. The art
Printinky's was drawn for fun, and that is all it is meant to be.
The artwork is the creator's work and stays the creator's. Owning a Printinky means you own the token and whatever the blockchain records about it. It does not transfer the copyright in the drawing, and there is no licence agreement here, none granted and none sold.
Enjoy the printer you own. Show it to people, post it, use it as a picture of yourself online. If you want to do something bigger with the artwork, such as printing it on things to sell, ask the creator first.
Please do not pass the artwork off as your own, use it to suggest the creator is involved in your project or your token, or use the name "Printinky's" as the name of another collection, token or financial product.
8. Non-custodial, and no advice
We never hold, control, or have access to your private keys, your wallet or your assets. Not for a moment. Everything you own stays in your own wallet, under your own keys, at all times, and the creator has no ability to move it, freeze it or recover it.
The Site does not execute transactions. It reads the chain and prepares transaction data for your wallet to show you. You decide whether to sign. You alone are responsible for checking what you are signing before you approve it, on every single transaction.
We do not operate an exchange, a marketplace, a brokerage, a dealership, a money transmitter, a payment processor, an investment fund or an advisory service. We do not match buyers with sellers and we do not run an order book. Sales between people happen on third-party marketplaces we neither run nor control.
Nothing from the creator or on the Site is financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, hold or sell anything. If you need advice, get it from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.
9. Risks you accept
By using the Site or the collection you confirm you understand and accept all of the following:
- Total loss. You may lose everything you spend here. Assume that you will.
- Nothing can be undone. Blockchain transactions are permanent. A mistake in an address, an amount or a network cannot be reversed by anyone.
- Smart contract risk. The contracts are code and code has bugs. They have been tested extensively by the creator and reviewed line by line, but they have not been audited by a professional third-party security firm. A bug could cause loss of funds or tokens.
- No way to patch. Because there is no admin and no upgrade path, a bug found after deployment cannot be fixed. That immutability protects you from the creator and also removes any safety net.
- Your keys are your problem. Lose your keys or your seed phrase, or let someone else get them, and your Printinkys and your vaults are gone permanently. We cannot recover them.
- Network risk. Robinhood Chain is a young network. It may halt, congest, reorganise, fork, change its rules or stop operating, and any of these could affect your ability to use or transfer what you own.
- Market risk. There may never be a market for a Printinky. If there is one, it may be thin, volatile, manipulated, or it may disappear. You may be unable to sell at any price.
- Third-party risk. Wallets, marketplaces, RPC providers, token issuers, liquidity pools and explorers are run by other people and can fail, be hacked, mislead you or shut down.
- Regulatory risk. The rules for digital assets are unsettled and change. Future rules could restrict what you can do with a Printinky, or affect its value or legality where you live.
- Rendering risk. The art is drawn from contract data by whatever software is looking at it. Some wallets, marketplaces and browsers will draw it imperfectly or not at all.
- Neglect risk. If you stop playing, your printer dies. This is by design.
10. Who may use this
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher, and legally able to enter into these terms. Printinky's is not for children and we do not knowingly let them use it.
You confirm that you are acting for yourself, on your own judgement, with your own money, and that you understand what a blockchain transaction is and how to check one before signing it.
11. Restricted places
You may not use the Site if you are located in, resident in, or acting for anyone in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions by the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union or the United Nations, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the occupied regions of Ukraine. You may not use the Site if you appear on any sanctions list, including those maintained by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control.
You are responsible for knowing whether using the Site or holding a Printinky is lawful where you are. If it is not, do not use it.
12. How you may not use it
You agree not to use the Site or the collection to break the law, to defraud or deceive anyone, to launder money, to evade sanctions, to manipulate a market, to harass or impersonate anyone, to infringe anyone's rights, to attack or overload the Site or its providers, to scrape it beyond reasonable use, or to present Printinky's to other people as an investment, a yield product or a financial opportunity.
The Site is a static page and cannot ban anyone from the contracts, which are permissionless by design. That is not permission. It only means your conduct is entirely on you.
13. Taxes
Any tax arising from what you do here is yours to work out, report and pay. We do not withhold tax, do not report on your behalf, and give no tax advice. Rules differ everywhere and change often. Ask a qualified professional.
14. Other people's services
The Site loads fonts from Google, reads the chain through public node providers, and links to third-party marketplaces and explorers. The collection interacts with a Uniswap v4 pool and with tokens issued by other people. None of these are ours. We do not control them, do not vouch for them, and are not responsible for what they do, what they charge, what they collect or how they fail. Your use of them is between you and them, under their own terms.
15. The site may go away
We may change, suspend, restrict or shut down the Site at any time, in whole or in part, with no notice and no liability to you. The Site is a convenience, not a promise.
If it disappears, the collection does not. The contracts stay on the chain, your tokens stay in your wallet, and anyone can keep interacting with them directly for as long as the network exists. That is the reason the art was put in the contracts in the first place.
16. No warranties
THE SITE, THE COLLECTION AND EVERYTHING IN THEM ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, THE CREATOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY AND FREEDOM FROM ERROR. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE CONTRACTS ARE FREE OF VULNERABILITIES.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, THE CREATOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, TOKENS OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM OR CONNECTED WITH THE SITE, THE COLLECTION, THESE TERMS, ANY TRANSACTION YOU MAKE, OR ANY TOKEN YOU HOLD, ON ANY LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD SUCH LOSS WAS POSSIBLE.
THE CREATOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS TAKEN TOGETHER IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (i) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE CREATOR IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (ii) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some places do not allow some of these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law there permits.
18. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold the creator harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, fine or cost, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Site or the collection, your breach of these terms, your breach of any law or anyone's rights, your use of the artwork, or any dispute between you and a third party relating to Printinky's.
19. Disagreements
If something goes wrong between you and the creator, say so first and give a real chance to sort it out. This is a small art project made by one person, and almost anything can be settled by talking about it.
These terms do not send you to arbitration, do not pick a court in another country for you, and do not take away any right you have where you live. Whatever consumer rights your own law gives you, you keep. If a disagreement ever did reach a court, the limits in sections 16 and 17 still apply as far as the law allows.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, the "last updated" date at the top changes and the new version is posted here. Material changes will also change the version of the agreement message the Site asks you to sign, so you will be asked to agree again the next time you connect.
Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Site. Changes to these terms never change the contracts, which cannot be changed by anyone.
21. General
Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Notice are the whole agreement between you and the creator about the Site and the collection, and replace anything said before.
Severability. If any part is found unenforceable, it is narrowed to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, or removed, and the rest stays in force.
No waiver. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not transfer these terms or your rights under them. The creator may.
No agency. These terms create no partnership, employment, agency, joint venture or fiduciary relationship between you and the creator.
Force majeure. The creator is not responsible for any failure or delay caused by something beyond reasonable control, including network failures, outages, attacks, natural events, war, or acts of government.
Language. These terms are written in English. A translation is a convenience only, and the English version governs.
22. Getting in touch
Printinky's is one person making art. There is no support desk, no help line and no inbox that promises a reply. If a contact channel is ever opened, it will be linked from printinky.fun.
Nothing here depends on reaching anyone. The contracts run by themselves, your tokens sit in your own wallet, and nobody, including the creator, can change, pause, freeze or rescue any of it.
